The S5000VX is Samurai's signature fit. A modern take on a mid-century straight fitting jean, the S5000VX offers a flattering shape inspired by mid-century American denim, with a modern, medium rise and slightly roomier top block for a little more comfort and ease of movement while still retaining a traditional, beautiful silhouette that never goes out of style.

Made from Samurai's heaviest, most durable unsanforized 21 oz selvedge denim, woven on the same vintage shuttle looms that produced the iconic American denim of the first half of the 20th century. The result is a rich indigo denim with a slubby, uneven weave that is not only heavyweight and tough, but also softens beautifully with wear and offers incredible fade potential.

Finished with a deerskin back patch, featuring Samurai warriors in a state of absolute readiness and concentration, swords at the ready. Super unique red selvedge ID with metallic thread, iron pine tree buttons and copper hand hammered rivets.

These have been washed once from Samurai, eliminating the initial shrinkage inherent to unsanforized denim - they will not shrink when washed, but keep in mind that because of this, they run slightly smaller than the tagged size - consider sizing up one from your normal size. All come from the factory with a 36" inseam (actual measurement is closer to 34" after the one wash process). Hemming services available.
